California Roots Festival:

What began as a grassroots festival in the small town of Monterey, California, is now one of the largest and more unique festivals in the country.

Always improving and pushing the boundaries of festival standards with their family environment, zero waste program and live art, fans will have an experience that stands alone. Press Quotes:

“The deeply soulful sound emanating from The Green’s Hawai’i ’13 is absolutely everything you could ask for in a fifteen track stretch of authentic island style…It is culturally deep throughout, making for a vibrantly rich listen…If someone were to come to me and say pick one album to bring the Reggae/island sound back to the front of the pack, without batting an eye, I would thrust Hawai’i ’13 into their hands. The Green has received immense praise in the past and their latest release will only raise that bar again.” – Nanobot Rock

“The Green has quickly established themselves as one of reggae-rocks most versatile and talented acts. Hawai’i’13 is another outstanding showing by The Green and easily one of the best reggae albums of 2013. Hawai’i’13 is sure to appeal to reggae fans, as well as a broad range of music lovers, and only further accelerates the band’s upward momentum.” – The Pier

Hawai’i ‘13 is their best album to date. It’s their most inspired work, most varied, and most worldly.” – Angelica Music

Hawai’i ’13 is a number one album all the way around. It’s that simple. Reggae fans with an adventurous edge will love The Green.” – Inside World Music

“With Hawai‘i ’13, the third album by The Green…[is] going 3-for-3 in terms of hit albums and celebrating big time.” – Hawaii Star Advertiser

“The album charts a journey through Hawaiian life and music in 2013…It reflects on The Green’s musical upbringing just as much as the band’s vision for the future of Hawaii and its musical output.” – The Garden Island

“…grand diversity amongst the stability of their reggae roots.” – Maximum Ink
